Amber's View
I sat back down on the couch to tired to answer the door. "Honey will you get that," I yelled to AJ who was in the kitchen. I heard voices of people as AJ let our guests in.
"Hey chick whatcha doing." Rhonda said plopping down on the couch next to me.
"Nothing" I said yawning.
"You o.k.?" Howie asked me, finding a place to sit "You look kinda pale."
"Yeah I'm fine I just have the flu or something." Rhonda looked at me strangely.
"So what movies did you get?" Howie asked as AJ sat down next to me and pulled me over to rest against his shoulder.
"We've got a lot– why don't you go through and pick out the one we should watch first. Babe you feel kinda warm are you sure you're feeling alright." AJ said pushing my hair back from my face to feel my forehead better.
"Yeah…I feel…just…excuse me," I said as bolted from the room to be sick. I luckily made it to the bathroom before I threw up. I washed my face and headed out to go back to the movie room. Rhonda was waiting for me in the hallway.
"Feel better?"
"No – but I'll be fine don't worry.
"Amber…" she said hesitantly "…are you sure it's the flu?"
"What do you mean? Of course I'm sure."
"Well …I just mean…you know… there was that one night in the cabin."
"That was one night Rhon, we were careful for the rest of the week, besides I'm positive it's the flu because half of my staff is out with it at work."
"One night is all it takes but if your sure…"
"I am – now will you quit worrying about me and let's go watch all those movies AJ went out and rented." I tried to change the subject, "Hey did I tell you that AJ and I decided to have a Halloween party?"
"When did this happen?"
"Just yesterday. You should be getting invitations next week." I said as we walked back into the movie room.
Rhonda View
I came home from work and grabbed the mail out of the mailbox.
"What's that?" Howie asked as he grabbed a black envelope out of my hands. Howie has been cautious about the mail because I received a few letters from fans who weren't too happy about us living together.
Howie opened the envelope, "Oh it's only the invitation to Amber and AJ's Halloween Party. What are we going to be?"
"Babe, it's a couple of weeks away and I just got home from work. The last thing I want to think about is Halloween costumes."
"I can be a vampire," Howie said with a smile on his face, "I already have a costume."
"No, the last time you wore it you bit my neck."
"You didn't seem to mind when I did it...besides, the mark is almost gone."
I rolled my eyes at Howie. I hated when he was right.
"Why don't you go take a long hot bath and I'll finish dinner," Howie said.
"Okay – you don't need to tell me twice," I said as I kissed Howie and went upstairs.
